(Re) pensando e (Re) qualificando o rural uma contribuição da Geografia ao debate

Abstract

This thesis carried through a study on the existence or not of an opposition between the agricultural space and the urban space. The objective of this study was to contribute with new a proposal of def inition of the agricultural space centered in thinking and feeling. For this, the bibliographical research was used that contemplated theories of famous authors and thinkers of century XIX on to the Marxist ideal and the posit ive way of thinking. The study it included urban center, the new sprout ing or end agricultural of an agricultural one . These had served as cloth of deep for (reverse speed) thinking and (reverse speed) to characterize the agricultural space f rom a percept ion dif ferentiated of the landscapes that they join: agricultural and urban (f ield and city). Through this perception can be reconst ructed and be rearranged the dif ferences between the spaces agricultural and urban, aiming at to the construct ion of the agricultural space for proper the agricultural one. This ref lection will be able to bring contribut ion to the agrarian debates, helping to understand the agricultural space, beyond the stat ist icians or of a rest ricted concept and, over all, to excite new studies.
