Abstract: The goal of this work is to develop a WDM simulator to the propagation of pulses on monomode dispersive non-linear and with losses optic fiber based on the numeric solution of Schrödinger non-linear coupled equations. The effects of dispersion mechanisms, shelf - phase modulation and cross- phase modulation are considered in the model. Time and spectral distortions are investigated considering several initial propagation types. Numerical results obtained in the study are according to the ones found in the literature and show versatility and robustness of the simulator.
