|Abstract:||The aim of the present thesis is the investigation of the symbolic constructions regarding the conception of people by the communication means, or better yet, the popular by the massive, in the light of the television company, Rede Globo de Televisão , considering as the empirical the Globo Reporter television s program. The television company which conquest, since the 1960 years, in its accordance with the brazilian military regime, a certain tacit attribution of inventing and consolidating the constructive aspects of the brazilian nationality on both private and public fields. Treating, therefore, of a close look about the brazilian television from a particular journalistic program, thus searching beyond the political-ideological implications which delineate the ways by means the television was consolidated as a power source over the brazilian society, the inner universe perception of your results and the cultural field production where they were constructed. The chronological part of the research begins at the Globo Report Program creation in 1973 until the year of 1985, which time was stained by process of the national politics opening. In its first years, formed by a cineaste team coming from the against-government movement which stained the trajectory of a such chasing by the national-popular movement in the period of 1950 to 1960, the program persecute in the figure of the both humble farm-man and citizens a certain brazilian s character made of contrasts and conflicts, in opposing the culture of progress and the order established by the military regime. In going to the 1980 decade, its television stuff, its format and the editorial guidance suffered transformations which stained a new dimension for both the journalistic field and inclusion of these men classified as people and their form of systematization in the television language. It is the citizen transportation from the New Republic around the edges of the spectacular news . In searching this symbolic re-appropriation along the time from the dynamic of fights and conflicts in the inner delineated program, this research intends to contribute in providing a deeper analysis regarding the television historical aspect and the journalistic reports (headlines) in the country|
