Abstract: The Management of People for Competences aims to supply the company, that is, to its managers, a logical methodology to conduction of the management of its Human Resources. Such methodology keeps the focus in the people and its performance and consequently in the enterprise results. The objective of this work is to analyze the Management of People for Competences in an automotive industry as well as the critical factors of success for its implementation. A bibliographical revision of the strategies of Human Resources becomes front to the scene of changes, on the concepts about competence in the organizational and individual plan. It is used the experience in an industry of the automotive business, to understand the aspects related to the implementation of the management for competences. The objective of the field research is expressed as the result that if wants to reach: learning in the process of implementation of the management for competences. The peculiarities of the implemented system are presented, as well as recommendations for the implementation of similar processes.
