DESVENDANDO O ÍNTIMO ESPAÇO DA MODA
Abstract
Throughout the last thirty years we have been facing changes in the financial system known and defined as crises. This logic keeps a continuous movement of (re)structure which adopts technologies that allow changes to take place in both production and management areas influencing the social and work divisions and organization per area. The spatial movement and the decentralization of activities due to the expansion of outsourcing dictate the conditions and the organization of the growth of informal jobs, which are most of the times precarious such as the home-made productions. In contrast we can observe The third Italy which uses old job associations like familiar and home made productions as a new productive route to be followed not only as a financial resource but also as an element of the local history implementation. In Brazil technological and organizational changes happen in the private and public sectors mainly and mostly, whereas in the productive network the major changes occur in outsourcing showing clearly how fragile our job market is. Informal job relationships have always been present in our financial world spreading the greedy of the money making monster full of hungry tentacles ready to attack. The situations described above can be clearly observed in Nova Friburgo in Rio de Janeiro, where the lingerie production is based on home-made materials and the use of such work force feeds the needs of local requirements of workers. This research aims at analyzing domestic labour as a basic element of the construction of a new productive area in the outskirts of the district of Olaria, Nova Friburgo recognized as one of the biggest productive areas in the whole country.
