Um banho de rio nos escritos e sobrescritos de Luandino Vieira : uma leitura de O livro dos rios

Abstract

This work proposes a reading of O livro dos rios as a rethought of Luandino Vieira, after decades of literary silence, about the ideological proceedings that served of basis for the creation of the post-independent country and removed the revolutionary ideals for which he fought and what are reflected in his previous production. From a character plunged into his memories and wandering lonely through the forests and the rivers of Angola, the author promotes a revision of the national history and suggests a reconfiguration of the Angolan identity, taking as a referential system the notion of ethno-cultural multiplicity that marks his nation.
