Themis e Dikê em Hesíodo : afirmação de uma ideologia camponesa ante os reis "comedores-de-presentes" na Grécia arcaica (século VII a.C.)

Abstract

The present research tries to understand in which way are associated the fields of politics and religion in the VIIth century of Greek Archaic Period. For this it makes use, as source of research, Hesiod s poems Theogony and Works and days analized under the lights of Lucien Goldmann s theoretical propositions and isotopic semiotic reading method. The prism that guides the investigation is the one of the justice and the discussion about it that can be founded in those verses. This prism opens space for the debate concerning about a model of justice, model of sovereignty, depreciation of justice and what is the peasants situation in this board exhorted by the author. From this point, the work will try to perceive the answers given to the peasants situation provided by the author and the formulation of a peasants ideology in his verses as well.
