KAZIMIR MALIEVITCH : NOVOS CONCEITOS, OUTRAS REVOLUÇÕES
Abstract
This present study has for objective to analyze the artistic trajectory of Kazimir Malievitch under a historical perspective of his public figure. In other words, to understand the growth of this artist in the Russian society of his period, using his work and his writings as objects of the social relations between the years 1878 and 1935. Based in this point of view, the study had simultaneously analyzed the social and the economic characteristics of a mainly agrarian society which had its contradictions incited with the break of capitalism in this nation -, and it also looked for to relate them with the development of the diverse personas that constitute Malievitch personality, amongst them, the man, the artist, the theoretician, the teacher and the museographer. The artist and the theoretician had been studied as a development of his youth interest for the phenomena of the nature and, later, for the man s painting skills and knowledge. The teacher and the museographer were analyzed as necessary extensions to the development of the activities that were connected with Suprematism. Summarizing, the analysis of every Kazimir Malievitch activities leads to the comprehension that the construction of his intellectual and artistic trajectory was closely linked to his youthful thoughts, which allowed him to justify a painting as a painting. However, this justification did not meant a empty defense of intellectuality and sensitivity, but a defense of political and philosophical density, that suggest a new relation between man and world, a reorganization of this world, which would renounce object s materiality and would accomplish in the pictorial space.
