Encapsulamentos semânticos em perspectiva discursivo- funcional

Abstract

This work proposes the categorial widening of the semantic anaphoric encapsulations proposed by Francis (1994, 2003) through the semantic categories of the Representational Level established by the Functional Discourse Grammar. We believe that Francis, in her studies, did not approach all the possible semantic categories of a language unit. In addition to this, we support a redefinition of the concept of encapsulation, since it can be dependent on context or be represented by grammaticalized terms. Our corpora were extracted from eighty-eight TV and Movie Reviews from Folha de São Paulo online, in the period of August, 2008 to January, 2010.
