A EDUCAÇÃO PERMANENTE EM ENFERMAGEM NA UTI NEONATAL: PESQUISA EXPLORATÓRIA DE CAMPO
Abstract
The Permanent Education in Health (PEH) has as subject of transformation the work process, directed for improve the quality of services and equity in care and access to health services. Although the importance of continuing education/permanent education is growing, it presents vague as for its role in the reorganization in the assistance models and in the restructuration on ways of educative intervention on health services. The present work focuses the process of permanent education of nurse staff on ICU Neonatal. It analyses the necessity of Permanent Education in Health of nurse staff that works in ICU neonatal and characterizes the demands of capacity of ICU- neonatal. This study developed an exploratory research on field. The data collects happens from October, 2007. The data was generated from interview with thirteen professionals of a nurse team from a University Hospital on a city of Vassouras, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Based on data analyses some questions about necessary competences emerge for performance of nurse team on ICU Neonatal, about the main difficulties of this team on every day performance, and, about what are the needs on permanent education of this team. The results show that there is a great concern from this nurse team on the techniques/managers aspects from this sector. The main difficulties from this team were in the technique/manager performances, on humanization of the assistance and on interpersonal/multiprofissionais aspects of care. Therefore, the needs competences for the nurse team performance on ICU Neonatal are acquired on actualization course and in every day practices of this team sector. On this way, the Permanent Education is crucial for acquisition of the needs competences for the performance of this team.
