|Abstract:||The reason this research is related to the development and implementation of energy audit guidelines developed for small and medium enterprises. The research is based on the concepts of eco-efficiency, energy efficiency, energy audits and sustainability. With respect to the procedures adopted, we used the criterion of identifying the guidelines applied by the agents of policy implementation of energy audit, building up for the prioritization of thematic modules, based on the realities of small and medium enterprises, resulting in guidelines energy audit for this market. He underwent the guidelines proposed energy audit specialists for the validation of them. Since then, these guidelines were applied in two companies, characterized, thus the case study. This study identifies that, to obtain the energy audit guidelines, the method is classified as an applied nature, and in case of a study of multi. With the proposed energy audit guidelines, the results show the assertion as to the thematic modules chosen, as measures to reduce wastage of electricity, so necessary to reduce costs at the facility. We used the criterion of identifying the guidelines applied by the agents of policy implementation of energy audit, building up for the prioritization of thematic modules, based on the realities of small and medium enterprises. Since then, these guidelines were applied in two companies, having employed case study methodology for the interpretation and analysis of results. Confirmed the importance of measures to reduce wastage of electricity and thereby reducing costs of these organizations.|
