MAPEAMENTO DOS EFEITOS GERADOS PELA IMPLANTAÇÃO DA TECNOLOGIA DE INFORMAÇÃO NA ÁREA DE COMPRAS HOSPITALARES

Abstract

This dissertation/paper describes a methodological approach for the mapping of effects emerged from the setting up of management information systems applied to hospital procurement procedures. The variables used during the analysis phases of this study are based on the revision of technical and scientific literature applied to the field of management electronic information systems applied to business organizations.The literature revision acted as key element for the definition of criteria and preparation of the questionnaire. Results derived from the use of this approach make it possible to identify the major positive impacts upon different criteria as well as the major grade of importance rated by participants according to their perception during the research. Generally speaking, purchasers reacted positively regarding the impacts of the use of electronic information systems applied to procurement procedures in the field of hospital administration. The study therefore highlights the fact that e-business must be seen as the result of joint efforts between internet and the integration of the supply-chain, and that this marriage is transforming a variety of processes, starting from the acquisition and conception of products to the existing relationships between clients and their providers.
