Abstract: This thesis aims to define line of research contributing to the improvement of perception of values made by managers of environmental projects sponsored by a national energy company. The subject is of actual interest, as it is one of the need of the top management to assess the degree of alignment of personal and organizational values of environmental project management related to social and environmental policies of the energy company .The text provides a retrospective look at the concept of sustainability, given the choice of public environmental projects sponsored. The assessment of values was performed using Survey where we observed the degree of awareness of personal and organizational values that managers of environmental projects have, taking as reference the seven levels of consciousness, classifying the values perceived in relation to policies social and environmental behaviors and desirable business conduct under study. As a result of analysis of data collected in the Survey, we obtained strong evidence indicating the existence of a positive culture in social working group studied the company. We obtained evidence of misalignment in the perception of personal and organizational values in the lower levels of awareness of the study group, which deserves further study to establish whether probable cause, an activity not covered in this research. It is suggested a topic for future research assessing the unfolding of social and environmental awareness of managers by examining the correlation that may occur between quality of life, gross domestic happiness of the project managers and the environmental and social performance of the company.
