|Abstract:||This dissertation makes an inventory of the introducers of paraphrase in interviews of the magazines Veja, Isto é and Caros Amigos with the aim of increase the study of paraphrase and show the relevance of this discursive strategy be analized as a strategy with function of persuasion, that may also have other functions, derivatives, or complementary, that depending on the context, can be express more or less explicit. The paraphrases re-categorize the object of discourse and it is promoter referential progression to construct a more argumentative or persuasive text. These data will be seen from theoretical principles of textual linguistics, with studies on referencing, paraphrase, textual genre, in particular, journalistic interviews genre, followed by some studies on persuasion and argumentation.|
