SUBSÍDIOS PARA UM MODELO DE SISTEMA DE GESTÃO DE RESPONSABILIDADE SOCIAL NAS EMPRESAS

Abstract

Much is said about Social Responsibility. The relationship of big companies with its surrounding communities has deserved studies and thesis of many kinds, because of the complexity of this relationship and its integration with the main purpose of the companies: the profit of the shareholders. The relationship of the companies with their surrounding communities is complex, demanding such a close interdependence between the public authorities and these surrounding communities, becoming into a challenge to the management of Social Responsibility. Such are the mishaps of the management of a complex space in which are no other alternative beyond the cooperative work and the construction of a common agenda, focusing a sustainable future for all the stakeholders. The author aims on this research to deep in the gap of the communication process with the surrounding communities. Make this relation better than possible, with transparency and commitment of both parts, identify real leaders, which will be able to influence on the communities, different of those that are only on no representative positions. Develop and guide these leaders, future bridges with the publics affairs. In spite of this challenge and based on the experience developed in one of the units of Petrobras, Gabriel Passos Refinery, Regap, located in Betim MG, the core of this research is, beyond to clarify the importance of the companies investing on the surrounding communities, to purpose a model of management system of social responsibility on the companies and that this model provides subsidies to extend it to others unities of the Petrobras System, reaching so, one of the items of its mission that exactly is Social Responsibility.
