Abstract
The learning occurs in organizations alike to be scheduled or not, because it occurs
in people. Faced the constant changes in the new society that imposes itself - the
knowledge society, organizations of all kinds, seek to improve the performance of
their employees through methods and techniques that help in achieving good results.
Manage organizational knowledge and the development of actions that are based on
knowledge management have become crucial to the success of companies. Thus,
we performed a case study aiming to assess the Training and Improvement of the
Federal Fluminense University, through its courses, can be considered a promoter of
knowledge management in the institution. The result of this research allowed the
mapping of indicators which show that, even unintentionally, the program develops in
the direction of knowledge management at the University.
