AVALIAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS DE GESTÃO DE FORNECEDORES DE UMA MONTADORA DE AUTOMÓVEIS COM PRODUÇÃO EM SÉRIE

Abstract

In a competitive market and with the need of organizations to develop products in shorter deadlines, cause these organizations produce in a scenario of uncertainties and demands that vary according to different markets. To stay competitive these organizations should intensify the use of management tools in the administration of the quality management used in the templates of its suppliers. Thus, the role of automotive parts supplier‟s increases the importance of a direct management of its suppliers is really functional. The supplier must improve management to achieve the goals of quality, and consequently it is necessary a stronger performance control. The goal was to map search and assess management practices used to assist the quality assurance of suppliers in series production phase. To map these practices interviews were conducted with the support of standard questionnaire with 12 national suppliers of Final Assembly of components of an automobile in Southeastern in Brazil. The survey instrument was constructed based on the bibliographic review and author professional experience. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The search result decision-making should support the processes in the evaluation of these suppliers.
