Abstract
The present dissertation aims at analysing and justifying
the existing link between the work and thought of
William Blake and the production of many artists of the
20th and 21st centuries, more specifically those related to
the Rock 'n' Roll scene and its derivative and surrounding
manifestations. Exploring philosophical and aestheticartistic
concepts, as well as social statements shared by
both the poet-prophet and the so-called rebel rockers ,
it is our intent to disclose the existence of a solid though
ever-flowing visionary dialog which may help to
determine the relevance of Blake in our times
