Abstract
The present work aims to discuss Love relationships between the characters of the novel O lustre, by Clarice Lispector. The cited novel puts the character Virgínia on stage, everlasting girl chosen by Lispector`s narrator in order to give a point of view simultaneously ingenuous and intense to the text in analysis. It intends to approach the aspects that make this Clarice Lispector`s text be permeated by the most recent themes, setting as an element of great innovative characteristics both regarding the use of language, as the content ably presented and desconstructed by this writer. The characters of the novel O lustre live immersed in emotional relationships that are absorbent and castrating, in which disputes and emotional battles are fought between them in order to maintain desires and affections they carry in their conflicting selves. Through these reflections, we determined that Lispector's narrative is set in a new scenario of Brazilian literature of the twentieth century, since it addresses issues related to a type of person whose identity is shown progressively more fluid, making the individual feel increasingly belonging to nowhere in a world where the human condition has become synonymous of ruin. This type of text requests, thus, a careful reader who needs to print a different look on it
