|Abstract:||The objective of the research is to find a mechanism for implementation of corporate governance in family businesses small (PTG), naturally depending on its size in Brazil usually held. The search for a new alternative take on the role of governance and administrative feature that is being developed in Brazil. Its implementation tend to minimize the problems of the agency problems commonly encountered in familycontrolled companies, thereby establishing rules for relations between: family, corporate and asset management. This study was an empirical case study of the Dragon Electro Diesel, and explores the benefits and challenges of the main corporate governance practices through the implementation of a board of directors, which will consist of family members, employees, consultants and external organizational , thus seeking to represent the three-dimensional model: familyproperty- management.|
