Abstract
This present work involves the discussion of a problem that arises from the daily health care practices, more specifically, the one that emerges from the UNACON-HUAP/UFF
ambulatory of oncology. This problem is related to the following questions: What are the determinants which produce the gaps that hinder or interfere in the line of health care right after and also subsequently to such oncologic service? How do they work? How can we understand them? It is built up from issues related to the service, which, once unraveled, works here as a device, interested in learning thoroughly about the way in which this everyday reality occurs, in order to understand the sense, extent and quality of the user care service provided. Thus, an analysis carried out from four points of view is made. The first one consists of giving visibility to the current phase of capitalism in its bio political expression and its effects on health practices, especially addressing to the control that is established in
body and life. Then, it shows the restless tension between macro and micro policies, which include the health care practice and its effects on the subjective processes of users,
professionals and managers, indicating the development of the individuation processes, implied either to freedom or to servitude. The second one demonstrates the health care beyond an either extensive or organic perspective, including the different conceptions of body generated over the times, determining other references to the present times, involved with intensive processes, affirming life while vital power. The third point of view expresses the production of a cartography of the different meanings in the speeches of users, professionals and managers involved in the production of the health care in question, configuring, effectively, the search itself. The main idea is to get to answer to the problems that are considered in this work, based on the survey which was made out from three different perspectives: the ones of the users, the professionals and the managers of the aforementioned ambulatory. Finally, the concern is to foresee the network device as an operator of reality in health practices, discussing their effects on the line of health care to users with oncologic diseases treated at the ambulatory, taking as an ethical horizon, the affirmation of an active
and free life
