Abordagem MACBETH para tratamento de informação qualitativa aplicada num contexto da análise envoltória de dados (DEA)

Abstract

This work`s objective is to present an evaluation methodology for groups that have its performance impacted by qualitative information, that can`t be managed by traditional DEA models. The new methodology has two steps: Operational Efficiency calculation, related to group`s quantitative and direct products, and Specific Efficiency calculation, related to qualitative aspects of group`s work that will be managed by MACBETH multicriteria approach. The methodology will be developed through a Case Study for planning groups on engineering projects. In this Case Study, the decision maker is also the group`s manager and inserts his judgments on the M-MACBETH tool to quantify qualitative group`s results, allowing the use of this data on DEA models to Specific Efficiency calculation. The methodology allows the use of DEA targets to identify group`s performance gaps on both Operational and Specific aspects. With the Case Study results, it was possible to point desirable quantitative and qualitative performance for each inefficient group (DMU)
