Desenvolvimento econômico com democracia: perspectivas de desenvolvimento e análise de indicadores para os BRICs

Abstract

The main objective is to discuss, from the point of view of three authors, possible ways of measuring the development, through a prism that includes, in addition to economic variables, social, political and legal variables. So, an indicator needs to include social - such as education and health - and political - like democracy - and legal factors - such as freedom and human rights. From this perspective, we will discuss the existing indicators to understand how they contribute to the evaluation of the real development of a nation
