Abstract
This study brings a reflection concerning arts and its creation process as a dimension that increases enrichment of knowledges and actions in development as a whole, and, especially, concerning knowledgment and self-knowledgement of students/learners in health area. Collective Health has been attempted, among other questions on Public Health, to conceptions of health and care professionals development. However, a real consolidation of these proposals and their increment depend on extreme transformations comparing to traditional patterns of education, that do not consider the importance of subjectivity in education process. This reflection starts from author s experiences in such fields as Mental Health and Arts, and more recently, from an extension and research project with students coming from several health courses, organized by Health and Society Department, Community Health Institute, Fluminense Federal University (Universidade Federal Fluminense): Good Night, Good Morning HUAP Project. The study also starts because we need to join and understand wider vision over process of knowledgement production as well as think about new paradigms that include ecosystemics and affectives views in health professional training. The purpose of our study is training health professionals, having in mind arts as a dimension to new senses, possibilities of interactions between subject-object and thus, be able to create some links between objectivity and subjectivity, especially the affective and the cognitive ones. This research uses qualitative methodology of descriptive and interpretative, which makes use of tools and methods derived from anthropology, with participant observation and production of reports through interviews, focus group and experiences lived at the workshops done by the Good Night, Good Morning HUAP Project. An analysis of the potential transformation of the students from the experiences in this project.
