Abstract
This research proposes to identify values, beliefs and behaviors consisting of Petrobras/E&P/UN-BC culture, the organizational conscience levels they are, if there is
alignment among them and if the Personal Balanced Scorecard can be correlated with personal values and the hierarchical position in Petrobras. The research adopts, as main
theoretical reference for the work, the consciousness levels theory of Richard Barret (2000), who has expanded the hierarchical needs theory of Abraham Maslow (1999), to higher levels of the human conscience. Two structured questionnaires and statistic treatment of the informations were applied. The results were presented in tables and figures, and showed the distribution of all values among the seven levels of consciousness, as well as showed those considered as the most important ones, for the entire group together and for small groups, according to hierarchical levels. The conclusions pointed to little alignment between personal and organizational values and the recommendations had the objective of suggesting priority actions linked to the obtained results and other studies about the theme.
