A INTELIGÊNCIA COLETIVA PARA A GESTÃO DO CONHECIMENTO DO SETOR ELÉTRICO: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DA CONSTRUÇÃO DO DICIONÁRIO DA ENERGIA ELÉTRICA ELETROBRAS

Abstract

This dissertation describes the creation of the Dictionary of Electric Power of Eletrobras, presenting it as a representative case of knowledge management in the electricity sector. The research investigated how professionals from diverse areas responded to the challenges of knowledge management in the power sector during the preparation of the Dictionary. The processes of knowledge management used by the multidisciplinary team in the preparation of dictionary entries were analyzed. Also explored how the tacit and explicit knowledge related to the electricity sector, identified in formal and informal sources, were included in the collective construction of dictionary entries. The literature on the subject was reviewed, identifying the main approaches to knowledge management as well as the tools of knowledge transfer. The research methodology was qualitative, characterized as a case study. Data were collected through participant observation and interviews with members of the team that prepared the dictionary. The analysis occurred through transcription and categorization of the data collected. Results describe the construction process of the consolidated version of the dictionary, both in print and online, and an analytical framework, indicating possible contributions to the field of knowledge management.
