O Trabalho Infantil na Visão da Escola: um estudo exploratório do tema

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the vision on labor espoused by children, that study and work, as well as the one of their teaches, that teaches them what the school determines: syllabus contents and those other contents demanded by and for the social conviviality.We described the hard-working children's socioeconomic profile and analyzed the understanding that children and teachers, therefore, the school, has on labor. To achieve this goal, we elected to choose students and teachers of a municipal school of Niterói. Starting from some categories, as labor,childhood and school; the study indicates that the permanence of children work within Brazilian society has its philosophical origins in the positiveness of labor, even before revealing as a legitimated economic need, many times, by the school and the family.
