Saberes e prática pedagógica na preceptoria da residência de enfermagem

Abstract

The objects of this study are the knowledge and pedagogical practices of nurses preceptors in Teaching Hospital and how this knowledge influences the learning process of the resident learning process. From the experience as a nursing resident it was perceived the problem of the study, observing the little pedagogical preparation of the nurses preceptors from teaching hospitals, and how this influences their performance as educators with the nursing home residents. Its general objective: To investigate the knowledge and pedagogical practices in nursing preceptors and their influence on the teaching-learning Resident Nursing. The study justifies itself by the need of continued education of nurses, also focused on the technical and scientific development, conferring professional qualifications, therefore, rethink educational practices attributed to the process of theoretical and practical training of nurses is essential, especially when we put forward the comprehensive preceptors accompanying nursing home residents. Therefore, we conducted a qualitative study through an Ethnography research, where data were collected in Teaching Hospitals owned by Public Institutions of Higher Education, and the subjects of the study were the Nurses Residence Nursing Preceptors of these hospitals. Data collection took place at the Introductory Seminar theme of research by participant observation and semi-structured interview. The data analysis is being done according to the Ethnographic Research. We conducted a pilot test for verification of investigative techniques. Data collection lasted four months, held in two different scenarios, both with Teaching Hospitals. The participants were a total of 12 preceptors. The results have brought issues to the seminar and participant observation first, the characterization of preceptors, conducted according to the interviews, and discussion was presented according to four themes that describe the preceptorship the perspective of receptors themselves from the proposed methodology
