AVALIAÇÃO CRÍTICA DA CONFORTABILIDADE TÉRMICA E LUMÍNICA EM LABORATÓRIO DE QUÍMICA

Abstract

The present work aims to perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis of the environmental comfort status, from a thermal and illumination point of view, in a specific hermetically closed laboratory submitted to a forced climatization. A quantitative analysis is carried out to access thermal and illumination conditions. This is done by measuring directly physical proprieties like illumination level of an artificial source, temperature, humidity and velocity of the air. On the other hand, a qualitative research is carried out to collect user impressions and opinions related to the quality of the environment they work These two quantitative and qualitative approaches permit a panoramic view of the laboratory environment status and a comparison to parameters attested in present normative procedures. Based on analysis of these data, corrective actions are suggested to correct problems detected and to adequate the environmental parameters to the limits imposed by effective normative procedures aiming the optimization of the Security, Comfort, Helth and well-being of those who work daily in such a controlled environments.
