Graciliano Ramos : a narrativa social como reflexão

Abstract

The Thesis is a reading about Graciliano Ramos , a Brazilian writer from the 30s, literal and autobiographical ways of writing, as a reflexion, pointing out the text condition as an art, having the historical-political-cultural moment from the first decades in the 20th century in mind, where we have highlighted his role, which is afflicted, resented, but does not get involved in a trap that can make the literal text only a picture of real life. A modern academic point of view promotes a revitalization of the true-romance , calling the attention to the rupture from some realist and memorialist writers procedures. This way, Graciliano Ramos literature is brought out valorizing the potentialities of the pretending and the artistic word in developing new senses.
